Outside, Izzie's has the charm of an insurance office. Inside, decor runs to local artists' paintings and oilcloth-topped tables in a plain room with seats for 45. A bench near the front usually fills with patrons waiting for tables or takeout. You must ignore the stares of the bench warmers. They want your food or your seat. Just be grateful you have a table and they don't. For the food is unexpectedly wonderful.
